Hi House of Turquoise readers. This is Coco. My blog's name is COCOCOZY.

I'm guest posting here for Erin as she takes a little well deserved vacation! I was so honored when Erin emailed me last week and asked if I would guest post about my favorite turquoise rooms. So here goes!

I love a room infused with turquoise blue. There is something invigorating, exciting and cheerful about about a blue room! I love the color turquoise. I have a wonderful dose of it in my living room in the Hollywood Hills in a huge piece of art, a turquoise blue chandelier in bathroom, had a load of turquoise blue outside in my outdoor living space on my deck. Makes me so happy to see the blue for some reason. How about you?

Here are may favorite blue spaces these days...

Guest Blogger: Ashlina from The Decorista

Oh I just love a turquoise bedroom. As a decorator, turquoise is one of those colors that just soothes the senses and pleases everybody. I could always use a bit of turquoise in a room.

This very traditional bedroom is one of my all time favorite rooms. It's very sophisticated and lush, I could absolutely relax in this lovely space.

In addition to a very serene bedroom, turquoise is perfect in the living room, too!

I love these perfectly aqua hued rooms, dark wood floors are the perfect companion to the bright and bold colors. They both are uber delicious and every bit of turquoise I could ever need.

++++++++++++++
Thank you so much Ashlina! You managed to pick some of my favorites as well!! That first bedroom was actually one of the rooms that inspired me to start this blog. You all must check out The Decorista for more inspiring spaces! You will love everything you see there, I promise. Ashlina has such a talent for putting together amazing posts where every day is a treat for the eyes!

Litt jul i hallen...

Guest Blogger: Louise from Table Tonic

We recently sold the house that we had busily transformed into a home over the past six years, and this particular room has a special place in my heart, mainly because of the transformation it underwent in the weeks leading up to the sale. The room was the fourth (attic-style) bedroom upstairs, and until this point, it was somewhat bland and uninviting. As soon as we chucked this gorgeous Table Tonic Mexican Suzani (www.tabletonic.com.au) on the bed, the whole room came alive and the tone was set for a palette of cool, dreamy greens, limes and turquoise. Had we stayed a little longer, I could certainly have seen an aqua feature wall on the cards!

Hope you like it and thanks for the honour of being a H.O.T guest blogger!

Guest Blogger: Janell from Isabella & Max Rooms

Thanks for inviting me to be a guest blogger today Erin! I love visiting House of Turquoise to see what turquoise delights are being featured, it really is one of the happiest and most beautiful colors there are. I am such a fan of this color that is has made its way into many of the rooms in our home, including Isabella's Girls Dream Bedroom...No Boys Allowed! Shades of turquoise were used on the walls, headboard, bedding and chair.

It was also the perfect color to paint a fun little footstool, accented with Rub 'n Buff and covered with a fun fur fabric.

It is also the color of fabric I selected to use when having a pair of slipper chairs reupholstered.

If painting walls or covering chairs in turquoise is too big of a commitment, introducing it into a room through accessories is nearly always a good choice. This tray was painted using SW Watery paint and a favorite geometric design.

Finally, why not incorporate turquoise into the holiday decor color scheme? Last year I used turquoise ornaments to dress up a wreath, the mantel and staircase banister, and I'm getting ready to pull them out again!

Thanks again for having me Erin, and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

She's so creative, isn't she? Thanks so much Janell! You guys please be sure to check out Isabella & Max Rooms! I know you're all dying to see more of Isabella's dreamy pink and turquoise room and to read more about all those great DIY projects! So inspiring!

Guest Blogger: Kellie from Ada & Darcy

I just find myself always drawn to turquoise, and when I see a bit of pink in there as well, my heart always skips a beat. With a white background and splashes of colour, it makes for a vibrant, happy and beautiful space!

When starting my shop, I found myself naturally drawn to this palette and fortunately my customers love it too. Some of most popular products are my turquoise and pink Moroccan pouffes and customers have selected this beautiful combination for their homes as well.

With Christmas approaching, I'm planning for a turquoise and pink table setting and wrapping to match. My love for this combination continues ... xx

Thanks for sharing, Kellie!! These are some of my all-time favorite images too. I have the same never-ending love affair with turquoise and pink. You guys have to visit the Ada & Darcy boutique. I know you will love everything you see...and she ships internationally! Definitely check out her blog too, it's filled to the brim with eye candy!

Kommer adventstake etterhvert her ogsa, da, men er litt tidlig enna!..

White Furniture Classic Look

White is the color of peace. It is the most serene color among all the other and has its own cherished place in people's hearts. Though it is comparatively plain color, it shines distinctly among different colors. People who are in love with the white find it hard to replace it with any other color. The coolness and the classic feel that white gives makes it one of the favorite colors that people love to have in their rooms. A white painted room, complete with white furniture soothes the eyes. If you have noticed, in any magazine of home decoration, there will always be one room that is completely white. It is because of the classic look that white imparts, making the room look very clean and calm.

Have you also wanted an all white colored room at some point of time, but then held back thinking it would be very difficult having a whole range of furniture in white. Well, you will be surprised to know that there is every single piece of furniture you want in white ranging from couches, sofa sets, chairs, stools, dining sets and even office chairs available in white. That means, you can indeed get the all white colored that room you always loved. But that is not all.

The best part is that being a distinct and neutral color, white goes beautifully with other colors and in fact makes other colors look more attractive. Simple chairs in pure white placed with the background wall painted in a warm color like red or royal blue or a bright color like grass green or aqua blue can make a beautiful combination. The best feature of the white is that it is a distinct color that can be mixed and matched with almost any other color. You can get an amazing variety of furniture in white, in all styles ranging from classic to trendy, modern furniture to give the kind of look you want in your room, sitting area or dining area. It can go well with any warm or cool color that you have your walls painted in. Also if you add to it colorful bed sheets, on a white bed and a nice piece of art on the wall, it would give it a complete and unique look and will bring out the essence of the piece of art more beautifully. One great advantage of having white furniture is that you can change the color of your walls, bed sheets and the objects in your room, but white will go well with everything unlike other colors.

If you have tried looking for white colored furniture in the market earlier, but could only find a limited variety because it is not a very common color and furniture stores cannot have a large variety of white color, then a good idea would be to search on the internet for exclusive, white colored furniture. You will be able to find a variety of white furniture for sale to go well with every corner of your house. So, you can choose the piece that goes well with your taste and give your room, a unique look with your imagination.

Dillard's Furniture - Get the Classic Look For Your Home

I was at awe at the house warming ceremony of my sister. Her sweet little home was filled with Dillard's furniture. What a sight it was. The recliner chairs and sofas, the dining sets and classic leather chairs and beds were really the ones which caught the attention of one and all.

She had given a completely new look to her house with Dillard's furniture. The leather sofas in unique styles and colors, the desks and bed with antique wood look all gave her home a castle like look. Her Dillard's furniture was the talk of the town, that day.

Dillard's, a major brand in Little Rock, Arkansas, has 330 stores spread over 29 states in the United States. They are mainly concentrated in Texas, Alabama and Florida. They are known for their unique styles and innovative designs. Each store has trendy designs that's both traditional, fashionable and of course sophisticated. The classic leather sofas are all time favorites with everyone.

Dillard's offers fabulous savings coupons from time to time. And my sister did her furniture shopping and saved a lot on her furniture accessories. She got the best of furniture at reasonable rates. It is always a delight to visit Dillard's as they have a wide range of new and trendy furniture to offer at all times. Visit their trendy New Arrivals section which always surprises you. It is not only the trendy designs but the durability also that appeals to all.

This branded store does not compromise on quality and each piece available here is unique in terms of design, texture and class. No wonder, my sister transformed her home into a castle with the trendy Dillard's furniture. All of us who attended her house warming ceremony fell in love with her furniture and many have already started booking with the Dillard's store for their classic furniture.
